you pay double the emergency service tax and get less fire trucks!

.

Fire Station 57 Tarneit’s frontline fire truck has been hit with a new list of faults — just 2 weeks after returning from 4 months off the road for repairs.

Firefighters found a spare truck… also well past its service life. It’s now failed too.

Now crews are searching across the state for any available replacement — but with no central GPS tracking of fire trucks since late 2024, they can’t even reliably see where fire trucks are.

And this is happening while Victorians are paying nearly double in emergency services tax — almost an extra $1 billion this year alone.

The Allan Government is gambling with Victorians’ lives.

Paying more.

Getting less.

And being protected by failing fire trucks.

This is a government collecting more than ever while delivering less than ever — and in doing so, putting the safety of every Victorian at risk.
